Fantastic refurbishment of our 25 year old wooden conservatory. Excellent work, friendly conscientious workmen and all completed to a high standard. I recommend.
Thirty four years old, our hard wood conservatory had seen better days. The roof leaked, several bits of woodwork were rotten and much of the double glazing had long since perished. Two different people had advised demolition and rebuild but we were reluctant to do that. Following a google search we came across Conservatory Refurbishments.
Despite Storm Eowyn and some very cold February weather, work progressed. Rotten wood was very patiently removed and replaced, a section of the conservatory was replaced entirely and eventually all the glass removed and replaced. Following some very careful and patient painting both inside and outside, it now looks like a completely new conservatory.
All the workmen were highly skilled, they communicated well about any issues that arose and to a man they were a pleasure to have around. The work did go on longer than anticipated but the result was well worth waiting for. Our only regret is that we did not come across Conservatory Refurbishments sooner. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

The first thing to say is that I would highly recommend the Conservatory Refurbishment Company. Donald and his team have done an excellent job of turning our leaky conservatory into something to be so proud of. Alan was the project manager on this job and I cannot fault his work. He communicated all the important stuff in an easily-understood manner. We had a couple of snagging issues and both Donald and Alan were very keen to address these as soon as we brought these to their attention. We cannot fault this company and I would say to anyone in Scotland and North England looking to revive their conservatory to look no further than the Conservatory Refurbishment Company. Conservatory Refurbishments were excellent from the beginning, when Donald provided a quote (not an estimate) with clear deliverables, to the finish where every last detail was completed. The team were skilled, creative and hard working, a pleasure to have on site as they constructed our new conservatory. Highly recommended!
After +20 years of Scottish weather our conservatory, and in particular the roof panels, was a little tired.
Donald came to assess what was required and in addition made some excellent suggestions as to how the overall structure could be improved and potential issues minimised by work to our house gutters and down pipes.
A detailed and full costed quote was supplied and the go ahead given.
Before work commenced a comprehensive measure was undertaken, and checked.
The works were undertaken by a great band of tradesmen who were a pleasure to host. They arrived promptly and before the stripping of the old roof commenced the floor and items being kept were properly protected both from the weather and works. Each day saw great progress, with some unforeseen items being properly resolved. We were kept fully informed as to how the job was progressing throughout and on completion everything was cleaned up and left tidy.
The January weather was kind to us but not necessarily the team! Work was completed within the estimated time frame and the quality of the workmanship and materials is obvious.
We are certainly happy with the results and are now looking forward to many more years enjoying our much improved conservatory.

Conservatory Refurbishments Ltd. has just finished refurbishing my conservatory, and I’m so happy with it! I had to jump on and give a review straight away. The whole experience was fantastic. Even with the typical chilly and wet December weather right before Christmas, Donald’s team was incredibly efficient. They were fast, always arrived early, and were such a pleasure to have around. They’re true perfectionists—they even replaced a part because it wasn’t up to their standards!

When our conservatory roof started to fail we were so grateful to find a company so easily that not only replaced everything – panels, covers and drains – but did so with real care and attention, and offered lots of advice on care and how to make the roof last as long as possible! The knowledge of the team was brilliant and I had real confidence in them from the start.
